The National Coffee Summit and Expo 2023 is an important event organized by the Nepal Coffee Producers Association, in collaboration with the National Tea and Coffee Development Board. Supported by government ministries such as the Ministry of Industry Commerce and Supplies, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, as well as organizations like the Trade and Export Promotion Centre, European Union, and International Trade Centre, the summit brings together influential government officials, private sector entrepreneurs, national and international buyers, coffee value chain stakeholders, and coffee cooperatives.
The event will take place from June 17 to June 20, 2023, at the Sasa Banquet in Nayabazar, Kathmandu.
The summit includes several competitions to showcase the talent and skill of coffee professionals:
- National Coffee Cupping Competition: Coffee samples from various coffee firms, farmers, companies, and cooperatives will be tested before the event.
- Nepal’s First National Barista Championship: Sixteen participants will compete on the first day.
- Nepal’s First National Latte Art Championship: Sixteen participants will showcase their skills on the second day.
- Nepal’s First National Brewing Competition: Sixteen participants will demonstrate their brewing abilities on the third day.
Panel Discussion will be held as per the following topics:
